The Hotel stands on the left-hand bank of the River Tormes on a hillock opposite the monumental city centre. Its large windows make it an exceptional vantage point of the city in an open-air museum in which the towers of the cathedral stand out.
Elegance, comfort, and spaciousness are three of the features of the common rooms of this hotel, the meeting rooms, and the rooms themselves. Decorated in good taste with marble and other luxury materials, the interior offers excellent general views from all halls, the swimming pool, or from most of its rooms. Enjoy the typical Salamanca dishes at the Parador restaurant: hornazo, farinato, Iberian sausages, Hinojosa cheese, roast sucking pig, ring-shaped pastries from Ledesma, and macaroons. They are all exquisite.
It is located on the south side of the city and gives privileged general views that include the complete monumental ensemble. If you come in from Zamora you must take the Béjar and Portugal road, from Madrid the access route is the N-VI to Sanchidrián and Salamanca. The Parador is on the left before you enter the city.
